Ruth  is a member of the Council on Aging of Greater Nashville Advisory Council on Housing Workgroup, which will be responsible for the 2009 annual community Aging Summit in Nashville. She is a founding member of the EasyLiving Homes Tennessee staewide coalition thru the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities.  The coalition includes AARP, TN Housing Development Agency, Easter Seals, Habitat for Humanity, National Association of Home Builders and more. They will work to bring "accessibility" concepts to new home construction.
